
Madison Peton, MSW, LGSW
Madison is a Licensed Graduate Social Worker with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Social Work from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities and a foundation in Family Social Science. She is trained in EMDR and specializes in working with trauma and co-occurring disorders, with experience in intensive outpatient, private practice, and substance use treatment settings. Madison’s approach is LGBTQ+ affirming, warm, authentic, with humor woven in when helpful. She works with individuals, couples, and families to process the past, reduce shame, and build more connection-filled, meaningful lives. Using a person-centered and eclectic approach, she integrates EMDR, DBT, CBT, IFS, Somatic and Mindfulness practices, and recovery or spirituality-based frameworks to support each client’s unique goals. Outside of the office, Madison enjoys playing with her young daughter, making memories with friends and family, painting, music, writing poetry, swimming, and spending time in nature.
