Zach Listner, MSW, LGSW, LADC
Zach has a Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work with a focus on Addiction and Recovery Counseling through St. Catherine University. Zach works with clients in therapy under the belief that none of us as humans are broken. Rather, we have parts in us needing both attention and healing. Zach does this collaboratively with his clients through the use of humor and vulnerability while also exploring emotional states and the environments that impact those. Zach believes that people’s stories deserve the space to be heard, which he encourages through the use of a variety of therapeutic approaches such as Values Work, Narrative Therapy, CBT/ DBT Skills and many more. Zach also identifies as a member of the LGBTQIA+ community and prides himself in being able to provide care and space for his own community, as well as others seeking mental health and addiction support. Before coming to Reed Behavioral Health, Zach has worked in adolescent inpatient mental health, emergency crisis mental health, and eating disorder programs. Outside of work, Zach enjoys reading, cooking, and playing with his dog at the dog park.
