Ryan O’Hara Theisen, MA, LADC
Ryan is an LGBTQIA+ affirming licensed drug and alcohol counselor with a master’s in clinical mental health counseling from Adler Graduate School. He worked as a creative in advertising and commercial film production for 23 years before transitioning to mental health counseling. Ryan’s own journey through anxiety and ADHD helped him embrace his reslience, develop effective tools, and find hope during times of deep discomfort. He chose counseling so he can support others on their paths to a better life and help them realize their full potential. He utilizes warmth, humor, and trauma-informed approaches (Adlerian, CBT, and Acceptance and Committment Therapy) to aide individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, addiction, relational issues, and spiritual struggles.
